FLAEYC can provide CEUs for most workshops. 1 CEU is 10 hours of education. The agency providing the educational opportunity will send FLAEYC resumes of all the presenters with each filling out the Presenter form. Each person attending that wants CEUs will need to fill out a 4-page participant form. The agency sponsoring the workshop or conference will collect these pages and payment, altering the pages and the amount of payment depending upon the length of the training. The agency would send one check for all those receiving CEUs to FLAEYC with each person's completed papers within three weeks of the session to the FLAEYC office. The agency will e-mail to FLAEYC an Excel spreadsheet  with a list of names and addresses of participants plus the number of hours of the training. FLAEYC will send certificates to the recipients, send the agency an Excel spreadsheet with the date of the certificate mailing, and store the information for 7 years. CEUs are free to FLAEYC members only when the local Affiliate Chapter or FLAEYC is the sponsor. Forms are available for Affiliate Chapter functions in the Members Only Section of this website.
