Time out not working?  Learn to apply positive guidance techniques to help ease your teaching by analyzing and changing classroom situations that are causing problems. In this course you will observe, record and analyze children's and teacher's behaviors so that you can make changes that really work.  This is a very practical course that will help you eliminate problems arising daily in the early care program. 

In this course you will read articles and lectures by professional early childhood educators. You will also participate in activities and experiment with using the ideas and techniques in your classroom.  You will write up your responses to hypothetical situations and how you apply your learning to your own setting.  This course should not only make you a better teacher, but help children take responsibility for their own behavior. This course covers children ages birth through 8 years, and all adults who interact with children in small and large group settings or on a one-to-one basis.

Earn 2 CEUs or 20 hours of inservice credit
$25 for Members; $45 for non-members.  $15 cancellation fee.
