Run for 2026 FLAEYC Board!
Are you ready to be a FLAEYC Leader?
Any FLAEYC member in good standing is eligible for Board service. Any such member is welcome to apply for consideration by the Nominating Committee, which is responsible for constructing each year’s slate of nominees. Inclusion on the slate is contingent upon completion and submission of a complete application. All positions begin January 1 of the following year.
The following positions are open for election.
(1) 1 year term as President Elect -> 2 years as President -> 1 year as Past President
President Elect
The President-Elect serves a one-year term, followed by a two-year term as President, and a one-year term as Past President.
Candidates must meet the Board Member eligibility requirements and have prior experience on a FLAEYC committee or Board. They should have a strong understanding of FLAEYC’s mission, goals, and initiatives and be prepared to take on the responsibilities of the President when needed.

At-Large Board Member
At-Large Board Members serve as representatives of FLAEYC’s diverse membership, providing leadership and strategic guidance. They support the organization’s mission, participate in board meetings, and contribute to committees and initiatives that advance early childhood education in Florida.
