Are you ready to be a FLAEYC Leader?
Any FLAEYC member in good standing is eligible for Board service. Any such member is welcome to apply for consideration by the Nominating Committee, which is responsible for constructing each year’s slate of nominees. Inclusion on the slate is contingent upon completion and submission of a complete application. All positions begin January 1 of the following year.
The following positions are open for election.

SECA Board Representative (FLAEYC Liaison)
FLAEYC is seeking a board member to serve as our representative to the Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA) Board of Directors. This role strengthens collaboration between the two organizations and ensures Florida’s early childhood community is represented in regional leadership.
Responsibilities include:

Serving as FLAEYC’s representative on the SECA Board of Directors

Attending SECA Board meetings and participating in SECA governance

Attending FLAEYC Board meetings and providing updates on SECA activities

Reporting back to the FLAEYC Board on SECA initiatives, discussions, and opportunities

Attending the FLAEYC Annual Conference and the SECA Annual Conference when possible

Supporting communication and collaboration between FLAEYC and SECA
This role is ideal for a FLAEYC member interested in regional leadership, collaboration, and strengthening early childhood advocacy across the Southeast.
