FLAEYC Elections 2026

The slate of candidates on this webpage is available for review from September 1 to September 30, giving members 30 days to learn more about the candidates. Each candidate was carefully vetted and interviewed by the Nominating Committee, which is composed of members from across the state. The election ballot will open on October 1 and remain open through October 31. It is important for our members to participate in this voting process to ensure their voices are heard and that the elected representatives truly reflect the interests and values of our community. Please remember, this is a member-only voting opportunity, so your participation is vital.

Meet the Candidates

3-year position | 1 position available

President Elect

The President-Elect serves a one-year term, followed by a two-year term as President, and a one-year term as Past President. Candidates must meet the Board Member eligibility requirements and have prior experience on a FLAEYC committee or Board. They should have a strong understanding of FLAEYC’s mission, goals, and initiatives and be prepared to take on the responsibilities of the President when needed.

2-year position | 5 positions available

At-Large Board Member

At-large positions are full voting members of the Governing Board and are expected to attend all Board meetings, participate on Board Committees, support, and attend FLAEYC Events such as the Annual Conference and in-person meetings (i.e., Strategic Planning). The Board and Committee meetings for the most part are held virtually and are listed on an annual calendar.
