At-Large Board Member

I am very excited to submit my application for FLAEYC Board Member. I have been involved as a NAEYC member since 2010. I've been attending the FLAEYC conferences since 2009. Since then, my loyalty to FLAEYC and the South Florida Chapter has been evident through my volunteerism.

I enjoy working with dynamic, passion-driven people who make changes in the Early Childhood community. I believe I can offer my talents and insights to a group such as the FLAEYC Board. Through the years, I have been involved behind the scenes , meeting and sharing time with many board members.

As a former toddler and preschool teacher and the current Assistant Administrator for The Creative Learning Center, a non-profit school in Miami, FL, I have found firsthand what teachers need and what directors are looking for. The Creative Learning Center proudly welcomes over 200 families daily. I believe this is one demographic we need to reach out to and assist in our state. We should make more things available to them.

I look forward to collaborating with this amazing organization.
