The Florida Association for the Education of Young Children (FLAEYC) is the largest professional organization for people working in the early care and education field in the state of Florida. We are part of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) www.naeyc.org and the Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA) www.southernearlychildhood.org.
The Florida Association for the Education of Young Children has 15 Affiliate Chapters and 11 Community-at-Large State Chapters.

2012 Week of the Young ChildApril 22–28, 2012 Theme: "Early Years are Learning Years".The Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The purpose of the Week of the Young Child is to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs.
