FLAEYC's work
to support the
ECE profession
in Florida

FLAEYC works to develop leaders through training and professional development for our members and other ECE professionals throughout the state, advocates for the early childhood field, and supports quality initiatives through our NAEYC accreditation support services.

2023 Highlights

 

  • Offer diverse workshops, networking events, and personalized support for over 1100 early childhood educators, administrators, and professionals.

  • FLAEYC representatives conducted a two-day advocacy effort in Tallahassee, meeting with senators and representatives to amplify early educators' voices

  • FLAEYC's grassroots One Voice Advocacy group of over 200 members, meets monthly to empower and amplify early childhood professionals' voices through local and state advocacy

  • Accreditation Support Services have and continue to support 15 early childhood centers in quality improvements affecting over 1200 children.
