Professional Development
Delivered to Your Center

Practical training that strengthens classrooms, support staff, and elevates quality—without leaving your site.

You’re working hard to build a high-quality program—but staff need training that’s relevant, doable, and aligned with best practices. These professional development sessions are designed for early childhood teams and can be brought directly to your center or organization (in-person or on Zoom). Choose from topics like accreditation, behavior guidance, classroom environment, transitions, circle time, process art, and communication—then we’ll tailor the training to fit your goals, schedule, and team needs.

Professional Development Courses

Any training can be modified to fit in-person or Zoom platforms, ranging in hours from 1.5-6 depending on the delivery style.

Developing Materials in Your Accreditation Journey

This session guides educators in creating, selecting, and organizing classroom and program materials that align with accreditation standards. Participants will learn how intentional materials support children’s learning, reflect best practices, and provide clear evidence of quality throughout the accreditation process.

Enhancing Your Classroom Environment

Learn how to design classroom environments that are intentional, engaging, and supportive of children’s development. Participants will examine how layout, materials, and visual elements can promote learning, independence, and positive behavior while meeting best practice and accreditation standards.

Circle Time & Morning Meeting

This training focuses on creating meaningful, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate group experiences. Participants will learn strategies to increase engagement, support social-emotional development, and structure circle time or morning meetings that set a positive tone for the day.

Art Emporium: Process vs Project Art

Discover the difference between process-focused and product-focused art experiences. This session emphasizes the value of open-ended art, creativity, and exploration, while helping educators design art experiences that support development, self-expression, and learning rather than focusing on a final product.

Understanding Behavior and the Power of “I Wonder”

Explore children’s behavior through a reflective and curious lens. This professional development focuses on using the phrase “I wonder” to better understand the meaning behind behaviors, strengthen relationships, and respond with empathy, intention, and developmentally appropriate strategies.

Tips and Transitions in Classroom

Smooth transitions help create a calm and productive classroom. This session provides practical tips and strategies for managing daily transitions, minimizing challenging behaviors, and keeping children engaged during changes in routine.

Effective Communication

Strong communication is essential in early childhood settings. This professional development explores strategies for clear, respectful, and effective communication with children, families, and colleagues, supporting collaboration, professionalism, and positive relationships.

Accreditation 101

This introductory session provides an overview of the accreditation process. Participants will learn about the purpose of accreditation, key standards, expectations, and practical first steps to begin or strengthen their accreditation journey.
