We are your local early childhood association affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Florida Association for the Education of Young Children (FLAEYC).
Our Mission
NAEYC’s mission is to serve and act on behalf of the needs, rights and well-being of all young children with primary focus on the provision of educational and developmental services and resources. Our goal is to positively impact the early childhood education industry within our community through services and community involvement. We believe that early childhood education is of the up-most importance to children as it provides them with a foundation for life. NCFAEYC includes the counties of: Alachua, Gilchrist, Putnam, Dixie, and Bradford.
Vision Statement
Children will be cared for in high quality settings with well-trained professional staff. Staff will receive compensation and respect commensurate with the importance of the work they do with young children. Children will be socially, emotionally and cognitively ready with a love for learning. Parents will have accessible, affordable and available quality child care.
Value Statement
As a board and member driven association, we provide various services to our members, and those within the community ranging from continuing education units to advocacy.
